The Hearts Cry

The Hearts Cry

Inside the heart cry's the tears flow gentle down the

 cheek

Finding there way into a prayer of love only the Lord hears

 and knows

For in that prayer is the secrets of the heart

only known to

 the Lord and I

Placed in His loving care

my tears like diamonds held in a jar

For these treasures

He holds my heart and tears

For Him they are gold!

To the world a broken vessel I appear

But to the Lord a rare and beautiful jewel

As the heart cry's and the tears stain the cheek

Love will wipe away each tear with a gentle kiss of hope

 and faith,

mending the heart with joy of prayers answered

Each one by one

Mending this broken vessel into a rare jewel and treasure.

 As this heart cry's

I place my tears and prayers

in your hands Lord

Knowing you will take care of each one

A gift to hold and know

each one will be meet in YOU

My Father in Heaven

Not giving him a moment
Of her thoughts
He was quick to insult
With his raw cutting words
Not even giving thought
Of who could hear
The snear of insults
Raging one right after the other
With her back turned
She silently gave a raw glare
Into space
Knowing full well
It had only just began
His sharp tongue
Qucik to take aim
Right to the heart
One last stab
As she left the room
With a sassy stride
Only she could do
As he invoked one more insult
After another
No remorse
For the pain invoke
Only contempt and hatred
As she left the room

Three Word Wednesday

Happy-go-lucky, adjective: cheerfully unconcerned about the future.

Ignorant, adjective: lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated, lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular, discourteous or rude.

Joyous, adjective: full of happiness and joy.

The gift of time
Ignorant of
Each second made into minutes
Minutes into hours
Hours into days
The days into weeks
The weeks into months
Months into years
The years into a life time

Always joyous of life's precious moments
In each second of the day
Making the best of each moment
As we turn the page day by day
Knowing this day wont pass us by again

Leaving a path full of
Memories filling each day and week
Turned into
A master piece of beauty
This journey of life
Filled with so much living
Threads of silver and gold
Of the love of family and friends

Creating this book of life
Made up of each second
Of each day
Living life to the fullest
Leaving ones mark of life
Upon the footsteps
Of the dawning of day

Twirling and dancing
Through this journey of life
Surrounding one self with
The best life has to offer

Never a regret
Not even on the darkest of day
Thankful for each one
As it was a gift to be opened
Twirling and twisting
Shouting and singing
With each ribbon of life
Opened to play

Untouched until
Breathe has breathed upon it
The journey anew
Each second of the day
Living in the moment
No regret!
Just a new memory made

Looking back over the years
Seeing all the beauty
Laced in joy
Tears
Love
Happiness
Sorrow
Laughter
And so much more...........

With each new day ready to be opened
There are so many more chapters
To capture
In the rainbow of life
Lace in the ribbons
Of  silver and gold

Looking for those
Happy-go-lucky days
That make each new chapter
In the book of life
An unforgettable
Romance of life

One well lived
With each passing year
Thanking God for each day
As it was the gift
He gave
A breathe of life
One well lived
With no regrets
Just the joyous sound
Of living life

A gift
Anew each day
Thank you Lord!
For each new day
A story of ones
Life well lived

Three Word Wednesday

Enchanting, adjective: delightfully charming or attractive.

Fanatical, adjective: filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, obsessively concerned with something.

Giddy, adjective: having a sensation of whirling and a tendency to fall or stagger; dizzy, disorienting and alarming, but exciting, excitable and frivolous; verb: make (someone) feel excited to the point of disorientation.

You have enchanted me from the first day
I  gazed upon you

Longing for that moment when our eyes will meet
How I will melt into a thousand little sighs
As my eyes melt into a thousand thoughts of you
As a giddy school girl full of enchanting charm
Lost in my fanatical dreams of you

Your charm makes me giddy with excitement
Wishing and wondering when or next chance meeting will be
The twinkle and tingle of first love
As a silly school girl

As I dance and flutter about as a foolish girl
Dreaming of that moment of chance
The dance that makes me fanatical and giddy
As I await that chance meeting

Longing for that moment
When you sweep me off my feet
Dancing me across the floor
As romance fills the air

When our eyes meet
Gazing into those beautiful pools of blue
I know I will be lost
In your dancing eyes of blue

You have enchanted me from the first day
I  gazed upon you

The dream comes true
Enchanted with moonlight rays
Streaming through the window panes
Music softly playing

When my dreams of you come true!

When God Created Woman

I found this on my Face Book page. I have seen and read this before. I just love what it says about a woman. I think it perfectly describes a woman in so many aspects. As there are so many prisms to what makes us work and define us. Had to share this on my blog as it spoke to me so much. And as I continue to write this blog for my family. I hope and pray they will see what things have always been important to me and what I saw as beauty and gifts. I have no idea who wrote this so am unable to give credit where it is due. If you know please let me know thank you!

When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day.......

An angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her?"
The lord answered. "Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?"
She must function on all kinds of situations,
She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time,
Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart,
She must do all this with only two hands,"She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day"
THE ANGEL was impressed "Just two hands.....impossible!
And this is the standard model?"
The Angel came closer and touched the woman
"But you have made her so soft, Lord".
"She is soft", said the Lord,
"But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome."
"Can she think?" The Angel asked...
The Lord answered. "Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate."
The Angel touched her cheeks....
"Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her"
"She is not leaking...it is a tear" The Lord corrected the Angel…
"What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .
The Lord said. "Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."...
This made a big impression on the Angel,
"Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.
A woman is indeed marvellous"
Lord said."Indeed she is.
She has strength that amazes a man.
She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love and opinions.
She smiles when she feels like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.
She fights for what she believes in.
Her love is unconditional.
Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life"
The Angel asked: "So she is a perfect being?"
The lord replied: "No. She has just one drawback
She often forgets what she is worth."

Dont Quit

This poem is one of my very favorites. It hang in my apartment for years when my girls where younger. It has sustained me many of times through out the year! I'm thinking I need to find it on a poster once again and hang it up once again in my home as a reminder.

Don't Quit

An Inspirational Poem

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he'd stuck it out.
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are -
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

ANGER

ANGER

Highly explosive
Can become very destructive
Can lead to problems
With personally life and relationships
Work related problems
Anger can flare
Surfacing and causing grief in all areas of life
Anger can be healthy
It can be a warning and help that there is danger
Knowing where it comes from and why is important
When not dealt with becomes destructive force

Dealing with anger in a healthy behavior
Can lead to a more healthy me (us)

Learn to think before ones speaks
Speaking before we think may cause more problems
Learn to walk away and take deep breathes
Take a break from the situation that is causing the anger
Come back calm and with a fresh out look
That's when you can express yourself clearly
Without harming yourself or others
Returning and calming stating your frustration and concerns
In a clear and more precise presentation

Take time to exercise and get some fresh air
It helps to relieves stress and leads to a healthier you
And out look on what is causing the anger
A time out never hurts anyone
Could stop the explosion from happening
Which could cause more damage and harm than whats already been done
A timeout could help with a new prospective
And a calmer you
Coming back calm With more knowledge of where your anger is coming from
What the feeling is behind the anger
Not about the who
But what is causing this anger and behavior could bring
A better results without harm to yourself or others

Identifying the source of anger
Instead of focusing on what made me mad
There is an emotion deeper that is causing the anger
Try new routines
Change what made "me" you mad
Look for solutions
Remind myself anger never fixes anything
It just makes things worse
And more explosive
Knowing why
And where it is coming from
Helps defuse the anger

Learn to stick to "I" statements
Be respectful
Don't hold a grudge
Learn to forgive
Never easy but with a little self respect of self
Can go along ways
The bitterness and hatred wont consume "Me" you
It will bring healing in me
If I learn to forgive
The hatred and bitterness wont turn into uncontrollable anger
Doesn't mean I forget what has happened
It means I'm ready to move on
To be healed from the hurt
The consuming behavior of anger
That is causing me more pain and hurt

Using tools like exercise, humor and relaxation techniques
Can help stop the anger
From exploding and erupting
Or taking control over me
Knowing when "I" you need help
Letting someone know I need help
Or seeking the help out

Learning the feelings and emotions behind the anger
Is important to be able to deal with what is truly going on
That way you can deal with what is truly bothering you
And what is the real cause of the anger

Knowing what "my" your core values are
And how they effect "me" you feel
Is key in staying healthy
Why "I" you feel threatened
Where is this coming from?

Anger is a normal feeling
Understanding it helps control it
Reasons anger can and will flare up are:

Frustration
Hurt
Harassment
Injustice real/or perceived
Criticism we believe are unfair
Threats
People
Things
Or ideals we hold dear (Core Values)

Anger is a powerful force.
It can jeopardize relationship's
Work
Health
Every aspect of "my" your life

Anger is a destructive force like a Volcano/or and hidden Ice berg

The volcano lays doormat just percolating until it erupts and its hot lava runs down everywhere destroying everything in its path

An iceberg looks harmless if seen from a top view;
But what waits underneath can tear and destroy and sink a ship in minutes

Anger is much like this two hidden beauties.
A beauty of a volcano/iceberg is beautiful until one explodes and rips the sides out
Much like "me" you beautiful until anger comes in to destroy

Anger

An explosion with a force to destroy what ever lays in its path
Natural reaction when harm or threats are felt
Giving in to the force of fight or flight
Energy that controls you instead of you controlling it
Revenge that gives no forgiveness

~Beth~

Anger is a force all of its own if we allow it to take over and destroy "Me" us.

This is a project I had to turn in for an anger management class that I took for my health.
We had to talk about what we learned on our twelve week journey.
Have you ever had to take an anger mananagement class?
